​During the late 1990s, the SkyBox Z-Force brand was legendary for pushing structural boundaries with loud, energetic design concepts. The highly coveted Quick Strike insert set focused specifically on twelve of the league's most lethal scoring threats who could take over a game in the blink of an eye. Randomly inserted into Series Two packs at a punishing, case-hit rate of 1 in every 96 packs, these inserts were an extraordinary pull. What sets the Quick Strike series apart is its complex engineering: a completely transparent, heavy-gauge acetate plastic stock layered with a brilliant, radiating gold holofoil backing.
